Not having the use of her legs she is passionate about teaching “Less is more” and refining the aids.
Has competed in 4 Paralympic games, 3 World Equestrian Games and numerous FEI 3* events in Europe, USA and SA.
Took a silver and bronze medal for SA in France in 2018.
Besides Para dressage also competes in able bodied dressage.
Wendy is also a provincial panel C dressage judge, and coach developer.
Has had the privilege to ride clinics and train with top trainers, judges and coaches to name a few – Mariette Withages, Kathy Amos Jacobs, Chris Porterfield, Philippa Johnson (Gold Medalist ) Jeanette Haazen, Jessica Wisdom.
Has been a mentor to several international para riders and teach both able bodied and para riders.
Has a 32 year old semi retired horse who is still sound and has been given the ride on 2.
