Once the basic training has been completed, rider and horse can then progress to more dressage specific movements. Series II follows the natural progression from Novice up to and including Medium level (in South Africa). The format of the sessions stays the same.
The basic knowledge taught in Series I is paramount for the understanding of the training at the higher levels and for producing horses and riders in the correct way of going. Series II is therefore only available to coaches (from any discipline) who have successfully completed Series I.
