All round Dutch coach/rider with a wealth of experience in bringing on both horses and riders from beginners to Olympic level.
Europe
At the age of 15 competed successfully at first of 3 European Championships eventing.
Aged 20 rode in Luhmühlen her first 5 star eventing.
At the age of 21 won her first international Grand Prix showjumping.
Meanwhile from the age of 11 has had dressage instruction from Alex van Silfhout (Coach Dutch dressage team) and competed dressage up to Prix St George level
1992 qualified as a coach at the Royal Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS).
Came to South Africa in 2000.
Competed successfully in dressage, showjumping , eventing and showing.
Coaching riders of all disciplines , 6 years an assistant trainer and work rider training race horses. 5 years a senior coach at Callaho warmblood stud, master coach eventing.
China – 2019
coaching the Jiang Su provincial team, in preparation for the China, and Asia games. Part of the coaches team that got the Chinese equestrian team competing at the Olympic games in Tokyo.
