Flo Vernon
Started riding in Cape Town as a teenager.
Has been involved with breeding, training and competing on Warmbloods, Welsh Ponies, Saddlehorses and Boerperde.
Started judging and coaching dressage while living on a stud farm in the Karoo in the Eastern Cape.
Worked on a dressage stud farm in Holland during the summer months for 5 years.
Has written a basic judging manual for learner dressage judges ; and a training manual for novice coaches and riders.
In 2017 wrote a book on her life with horses, called “Life’s a Ride: Enjoy the Journey”.
Particularly interested in coach development.
Is a member of Professional Sports Coaches of SA.
